Let’s picture a typical rush hour scene, where an ambulance is trying to weave through traffic with lights flashing and sirens blaring. If we focus only on the car and the ambulance, we miss out on many of the participants in this collaboration. Beyond ensuring the ambulance’s priority, there\u2019s always the risk of encountering distracted drivers, unaware pedestrians, and cyclists at every intersection. Their safety, especially that of the most vulnerable road users, is just as important as the emergency response itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use direct V2X in critical traffic situations to improve with real-time warnings, so drivers of ambulances, buses, and other connected vehicles, and even autonomous cars can be warned about dangerous situations to prevent incidents. We leverage mobile networks to expand the footprint of compatible devices so more drivers will be aware of what\u2019s happening around them in the traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
